[25 Nov 2025- Meeting with SG Digital Office] Had a productive meeting with the @sgdigitaloffice team and was happy to hear that their Digital Literacy & Adoption program has engaged more than half of our elderly population in Bishan-Toa Payoh & Marymount. In today’s fast-moving world, the SDO team works tirelessly to equip our seniors with essential digital skills for daily living. Honored to be a Special Guest at the @ambulancewishsg Ambulance Wish Singapore's "Ramay-Ramay: A Peranakan-Themed Charity Dinner" last month! ​The spirit of "Ramay-ramay" (together) truly shone through by the sharing and celebration of stories- celebrate their mission of fulfilling the wishes for terminally ill patients. An recent honour which I had the personal privilege of doing so. ​It was wonderful to reconnect with old friends Dr William Wan @skm1001s, Ms Anita Fam from NCSS, Annie from @helloflowerssg and make new connections like @opera.tang Kai Sin from @caringheartsnursing and Edmond from @kimchookuehchang! I had the pleasure of performing the official 'opening ceremony' for our residents to dig in, and the fun didn't stop there as two lucky residents walked off with durian prizes after successfully guessing the weight of the durian! [6 Dec 2025 – Re-opening of Courts Toa Payoh] Pleased to attend the re-opening of Courts Toa Payoh yesterday morning. The refreshed space will continue to serve our residents well, and it was heartening to connect with the team as they begin this new chapter. My sincere appreciation to @courtssg for their generous contribution of $20,000 worth of vouchers to our CC’s CDWF. This support will go a long way in assisting families in need within Toa Payoh Central, especially as we work to strengthen our community support efforts. [1 Dec 25- Accor Solidarity Day 2025] What a heartwarming event at the Accor Solidarity Day 2025! 💖 We were thrilled to see 240 TPYC seniors treated to a wonderful lunch, with amazing special performances put up by the generous staff of AccorHotels and Crest Secondary School. It was wonderful to see seniors socialise and have fun with volunteers and one another in such a special setting. My sincere thanks to CSCDC Mayor @denisephua, AccorHotels Mr Garth Simmons, and Mr Piotr Kupiec for their incredible support, and volunteers who took time off on a weekday!
